Missing or Broken Items

A. In October 2004, in moderate seas the forward compression platform split in two. The front crossbeam deflected 6 inches, many teak boards were lost and the trampolines were damaged. The surveyor felt it was a design flaw, hence the insurance company did not pay the claim. The report is enclosed - Structural Failure & Pictures.

B. Galley counter top was not installed properly and cracked in more than 10 places. More Counter Top Pictures

C. Platform for the windlass was not built with enough strength. It pulled loose within 6 months. No fiberglass was used aft between a vertical and horizontal connection. It was filled with resin and balloons. Picture

D. The generator platform was constructed poorly. It broke off within 6 months. Pictures

E. The inverter was installed in an area where water dripped on it. It had to be repaired and reinstalled in a dry location

F. The davits were constructed poorly and bent off the boat within three months in January 2005. Voyage sent a new stronger design, nothing else. Pictures

G. The dining tables were installed backwards at the factory.

H. The main winch was ordered electric it came manual.

I. I ordered 200 plus gallons of water. 100 gallons were installed.

J. Port engine has always had water in the compartment. The sail drive seals were installed improperly.

K. Starboard engine wore out the drive cone at 500 hours. Yanmar has stated that the clutch cable was installed improperly.

L. All the individually molded parts (seats, stairs and hatches) have developed solid bubbles, one to six inches in diameter. Both forward hatch covers, two main seats around the dining tables, stair cases to living quarters and aft side seats/lockers are affected. Pictures

M. 4 Electrical outlets were ordered, paid for and not installed.

N. Cushions for the top beds were never sent (4 in total).

O. The slides which hold the trampolines have broken off 6 times. I understand Voyage is building new trampolines with more ability to shed water.

P. Two fans ordered and missing on each side of helm.

Q. Radio cd player doesn't work. An interior unit was installed in an exterior location.

R. Starboard forward hatch on fuel locker misaligned.

S. Light fixture (florescent) forward starboard fills with water in heavy seas. Most likely from the joint between the upper roof shell and the main deck.

T. Electrical junction box for windlass has open holes in back. Controls ruined within 6 months. Needs to be rebuilt.

U. Light fixture (florescent) in fuel locker fills with water.

V. Genset exhaust pipe not sealed around the pipe as it exits - water fills starboard closet.

W. Back side of electrical panel exposed in a storage closet. Exposed wiring comes in contact with items stored in this closet.

X. Both forward compartments leak seawater.

Y. Both aft compartments leak seawater.
