Windlass
Platform for the windlass was not built with enough strength. It pulled loose within 6 months. No fiberglass was used aft between a vertical and horizontal connection. It was filled with resin and balloons.
The "L" bracket was added by us as a temporary measure to get back from the Bahamas. I should also note the white waterproof box below the windlass which contains the relay for the windlass, had a 1/2 inch hole drilled through the back for wires. Waterproof connectors were used on the sides of the box (where it showed) but the back was left open to the moist chain locker.
